What RuneDate is

RuneDate is a free dating site and community forum for adults aged 18 and over. Members create a profile, browse people nearby and message each other without a subscription, a trial or a credit card.

Alongside the dating side there is a community of member-written discussions covering dating apps, adult dating, cam and chat platforms, casual dating and relationships. Those threads are free to read whether or not you have an account.

Why there is no paywall

Most free dating sites are free until the moment somebody replies to you. We took the other approach: messaging, filters, photos and search all sit on the free account, and there is no paid tier to upgrade to.

The site is supported by advertising and by partner links to other dating platforms. Those links are marked in the page source and do not change what you can do here.

Our 18+ policy

RuneDate is strictly for adults. The site contains adult dating and adult conversation, and access is gated on entry. If you are under 18, this site is not for you.

Members can block and report any profile at any time, and those tools are available on the free account.

Community standards

Threads are member-written. We ask people to be direct about what they are looking for, to keep early conversation on the platform, and to meet in public the first time.

Harassment, impersonation and any attempt to solicit money are grounds for removal.
