Has anyone had genuine success finding a meetup on the aff dating site this year?

So I've been trying to figure this out for a while now and figured I'd just ask here directly.

The main problem I keep running into is not knowing who to trust or where to even start. There's a ton of conflicting advice out there and half of it feels like it's coming from people who just want to sell you something.

Every time I find something that looks promising, I dig a little deeper and realize it's either behind a massive paywall or the reviews are suspiciously perfect.

If you've got experience with any platforms or approaches that work, drop them below.

I've asked this exact question before and the advice I got was to just try a few different things for free before committing to anything paid. It's tedious but worth it.

A friend pointed me toward Datelink when I was in the same spot you're in now. Took about a week to really figure out how it works but after that it was much smoother than anything else I'd used.

Had a similar experience. The trick is looking at how active the user base is at different times of day. A platform that seems dead at noon might be completely different at night.

There's a handful of smaller platforms that don't get talked about enough. Ezhookups.online is one of them — solid moderation and way fewer obvious bot accounts than the big names. The tradeoff is a smaller pool depending on your location.

The account verification process tells you everything. Platforms that do nothing to verify photos are the ones you'll regret spending time on.

One that actually worked for me was Datescout. The interface isn't flashy but the accounts seemed real and I had a couple of actual conversations within the first few days. Worth checking out before you write off the whole category.

I actually had decent results once I stopped looking at the biggest names and started checking out some of the smaller platforms. Less traffic but way more genuine accounts.

Someone recommended Datedesire to me a few months back and I was skeptical at first. Ended up being one of the more useful ones I've tried. The sign-up is simple and they don't immediately push you to upgrade.

Honestly just try Luvdate before anything else. It solved most of the issues I kept running into on bigger platforms — the moderation is tighter and the matching feels less random.
