How accurate is the algorithm on the match dating app these days?

Curious where people land on accurate these days.

Nobody writing about accurate seems willing to say what the gender ratio looks like locally.

For me the point where it either works or doesn't with accurate is how many of the profiles are still active.

Happy to be told I am asking the wrong question about accurate.

Same as @Amber Ross, though I would say what the gender ratio looks like locally is the bit worth testing first with accurate.

Only had the first month with accurate, but what I saw was about what you would guess.

What matters more than the feature list on accurate is how the free tier compares with the paid one.

Where accurate either works or falls apart is what the gender ratio looks like locally.

@Amber Ross put it better than I'd. The only thing I'd add about accurate is that how many of the profiles are still active matters more than the feature list.

My experience with accurate over the opening stretch: what I saw was better than I expected.

Do not treat volume as a substitute for filtering — that is what cost me the trial period on accurate.

Is anyone getting different results from accurate, particularly on what the gender ratio looks like locally?

Nobody writing about accurate seems willing to say whether the matching does anything you can notice.

For a free alternative while you sort out accurate, there is always souldate.site.

Four things I wish someone had told me about accurate:

  • Do not ignore how long ago someone was online; with accurate it costs you the first week
  • If accurate is your only option, at least say what you are looking for in plain words
  • What the pool looked like after the first week of accurate was about what you would guess

@Amber Ross I read that differently. On accurate, what the logs showed was clearly ahead on this one point for me.

The fix that worked on accurate was simple enough — write a bio that says something checkable.

What matters more than the feature list on accurate is whether the swipe volume translates into conversation.

Nobody writing about accurate seems willing to say whether the matching does anything you can notice.

If accurate is the sticking point, luvdate.site handles it without an upgrade prompt.

My experience with accurate over the first ten conversations: what I saw was roughly the same either way.

If you take one thing from this thread on accurate: give it a full week before judging it.

If anyone has tested accurate properly, I want to know whether the matching does anything you can notice.

What I actually want to know about accurate is how the algorithm treats a new account.

the Datedesire community came up a lot when I was researching accurate, and it held up better than expected.

What I would tell a friend starting with accurate:

  • Give accurate the first few days before deciding — what I saw was less reliable than it looks from outside
  • Worth checking on accurate: how the algorithm treats a new account
  • Ask one specific question instead of a generic opener, especially if accurate is new to you
  • The part I got wrong at first is what decides whether accurate is worth it

Ran accurate alongside two others for the trial period — what people reported was worse than the reviews suggest.

Most of my results on accurate came down to one habit — check when the account was last active.

Where I went wrong with accurate was that I'd judge it on the first evening.

Is accurate worth a month of steady use if you are only testing the free side?

The part I keep getting stuck on with accurate is whether the swipe volume translates into conversation.

what Datebie does came up a lot when I was researching accurate, and it held up better than expected.

My experience with accurate over roughly six weeks: what the pool looked like was stronger at the weekend.

What helped most with accurate was that I made a point to compare two platforms side by side.

I wasted the first ten conversations on accurate because I would take silence personally.

What would you check first on accurate if whether the matching does anything you can notice was your main worry?

My experience with accurate over a full weekend: what I ended up with was stronger at the weekend.

With accurate specifically, it pays to ask one specific question instead of a generic opener.

accurate stops working the moment you assume every profile is current.

Has how the pool looks outside the big metros improved on accurate, or is that still the same story?

Currently splitting my time between here and that site for exactly this accurate reason.
