Hoping someone here has actually tested found a list of totally free dating sites rather than just read about it.

The question underneath all of this is what gets throttled once you stop paying, at least with found list.

Where found list either works or falls apart is how the free experience compares after a week.

Open to being wrong about found a list of totally free dating sites if someone has better information.

@cooper.russell maybe it varies by city, because found list was stronger at the weekend where I am.

The single change that improved found list for me was deciding to read the profile properly before replying.

If anyone has tested found list properly, I want to know what the ads cost you in attention.

Nobody writing about found list seems willing to say what the free tier quietly limits.

Datedesire (datedesire.online) came up a lot when I was researching found list, and it held up better than expected.

Came back to found list after a break. Over the first few days, what the numbers looked like was clearly ahead on this one point.

If you take one thing from this thread on found list: write a bio that says something checkable.

For me the detail that decides it with found list is whether free means free or just free to browse.

@cooper.russell makes a fair point, though with found list I would add that what the replies looked like was less reliable than it looks from outside.

The fix that worked on found list was simple enough — use a photo that shows your face clearly.

The part I keep getting stuck on with found list is how the free version handles filters.

Ran found list alongside two others for roughly six weeks — what the numbers looked like wasn'ticeably thinner than in a big city.

With found list I'd start here: write a bio that says something checkable.

What matters more than the feature list on found list is whether messaging is genuinely unlocked.

For me the detail that decides it with found list is what the ads cost you in attention.

Used found list for the first ten conversations. What the replies looked like was less reliable than it looks from outside.

What helped most with found list was that I made a point to read the profile properly before replying.

The trap with found list is that it's easy to send the same opener to everyone.

Has anyone tested found list since the last update, or is whether you can message first without paying still the sticking point?

For a free alternative while you sort out found list, there is always Flurrydate dating.

Ran found list alongside two others for the first handful of matches — what the follow-through looked like was clearly ahead on this one point.

The single change that improved found list for me was deciding to treat the first message as a filter.

The trap with found list is that it is easy to pay before you have tested the free side.

What would you check first on found list if what the ads cost you in attention was your main worry?

Luvdate is the other one people mention whenever found list comes up.

Four things I wish someone had told me about found list:

  • Do not write a bio that could belong to anyone; with found list it costs you a month of steady use
  • What people reported after about a fortnight of found list was more consistent than the alternatives
  • Give found list the trial period before deciding — what I ended up with was roughly the same either way

Used found list for about a fortnight. What I saw was better than I expected.

Most of my results on found list came down to one habit — use a photo that shows your face clearly.
