Is there an elite dating site that actually checks your LinkedIn profile?

I keep seeing vague answers on other forums so figured I'd ask people who actually know.

The free tiers on most of what I've tried are basically useless — you get just enough to see real people are there, then hit a wall the moment you try to message anyone.

Every time I find something that looks promising, I dig a little deeper and it's either behind a massive paywall or the reviews are suspiciously perfect.

Any input is appreciated, positive or a warning — both are useful at this point.

A friend pointed me toward Datebound when I was in the same spot. Took about a week to figure it out but after that it was much smoother than anything else I'd used.

The community size matters a lot less than people think. A smaller but active platform beats a huge one full of ghost accounts every time.

Came across Datebie through a recommendation similar to this thread and it was genuinely one of the better experiences I've had. Less noise, better response rates, and the sign-up doesn't feel like a trap.

Ran into this exact problem when I first started looking around. Spent way too much time on platforms that looked legit on the surface but had almost no real activity.

Things I look for now before trying a new platform:

  • Is there any way to see activity without paying — even partial browsing?
  • What does the cancellation process look like? One click or buried in menus?
  • Are there any recent user reviews from the last 3-6 months?
  • Does the app have location-based matching or just one big national pool?

That screening process saves a lot of time and frustration upfront.

One that actually worked for me was Flurrydate. The interface isn't flashy but the accounts seemed real and I had a couple of actual conversations within the first few days. Worth checking out before you write off the whole category.
