Looking for honest experience with dating apps for 50 year olds looking — what worked, what did not.

If anyone has tested dating apps properly, I want to know how it behaves after a month of use.

Nobody writing about dating apps seems willing to say whether the serious label changes the conversation.

Would rather hear one honest answer on dating apps for 50 year olds looking than ten polished ones.

I want to agree with @Nicole Carter but dating apps kept doing the opposite for me.

With dating apps specifically, it pays to treat the first message as a filter.

The single change that improved dating apps for me was deciding to ask one specific question instead of a generic opener.

For anyone who stuck with dating apps past the first ten conversations: was what the numbers looked like uneven depending on the hour?

If anyone has tested dating apps properly, I want to know whether the premium upsell is worth it.

The part I keep getting stuck on with dating apps is whether the serious label changes the conversation.

For me the part that matters with dating apps is how many of the profiles are still active.

I ended up on try Datebie after the same dating apps question and it was the least painful of the lot.

@Nicole Carter makes a fair point, though with dating apps I would add that what the numbers looked like was noticeably thinner than in a big city.

With dating apps I'd start here: compare two platforms side by side.

The fix that worked on dating apps was simple enough — read the profile properly before replying.

Where dating apps either works or falls apart is how many of the profiles are still active.

Currently splitting my time between here and datenest.site for exactly this dating apps reason.
