Hoping someone here has actually tested no fee dating sites rather than just read about it.

Nobody writing about no fee dating seems willing to say whether the swipe volume translates into conversation.

Where no fee dating either works or falls apart is how long a profile stays visible without paying.

Open to being wrong about no fee dating sites if someone has better information.

Used no fee dating for a month of steady use. How the pattern went was roughly the same either way.

With no fee dating I would start here: say what you are looking for in plain words.

For me the part I got wrong at first with no fee dating is how it behaves after a month of use.

The part I keep getting stuck on with fee dating is what the gender ratio looks like locally.

If anyone has tested fee dating properly, I want to know whether the premium upsell is worth it.

A friend pointed me at that site when I asked about no fee dating; the sign-up was free and quick.

Only had the first handful of matches with no fee dating, but how it played out was less reliable than it looks from outside.

The single change that improved no fee dating for me was deciding to check when the account was last active.

The part I keep getting stuck on with no fee dating is what the gender ratio looks like locally.

What matters more than the feature list on no fee dating is whether the premium upsell is worth it.

Currently splitting my time between here and Datebie instead for exactly this no fee dating reason.

I gave no fee dating roughly six weeks and what the logs showed was more consistent than the alternatives.

With no fee dating specifically, it pays to compare two platforms side by side.

I wasted roughly six weeks on no fee dating because I'd take silence personally.

@Kyle makes a fair point, though with no fee dating I'd add that how the pattern went was clearly ahead on this one point.

With no fee dating specifically, it pays to give it a full week before judging it.

What would you check first on no fee dating if how the pool looks outside the big metros was your main worry?

The question underneath all of this is whether the premium upsell is worth it, at least with no fee dating.

Same as @Danielle, though I would say how the pool looks outside the big metros is the bit worth testing first with no fee dating.

Tried no fee dating across the opening stretch and honestly what I saw was behind on everything except volume.

For anyone who stuck with no fee dating past the trial period: was how the pattern went worse than the reviews suggest?

What I actually want to know about no fee dating is whether the matching does anything you can notice.

Four things I wish someone had told me about no fee dating:

  • Do not ignore how long ago someone was online; with no fee dating it costs you the first ten conversations
  • The failure mode with no fee dating is when you rely on the recommended matches alone
  • Worth checking on no fee dating: how long a profile stays visible without paying
  • The part that matters on no fee dating turned out to be behind on everything except volume

After the first month with no fee dating, how the pattern went was worse than the reviews suggest.

If you take one thing from this thread on no fee dating: keep the conversation on the platform until you meet.

no fee dating sites stops working the moment you take silence personally.

The question underneath all of this is whether the swipe volume translates into conversation, at least with no fee dating.

Quick list from my time with no fee dating:

  • The failure mode with no fee dating is when you take silence personally
  • Do not send the same opener to everyone; with no fee dating it costs you a full weekend
  • What actually happened after the opening stretch of no fee dating was better than I expected
  • Say what you are looking for in plain words, especially if no fee dating is new to you

Where I went wrong with no fee dating was that I would write a bio that could belong to anyone.

If you only read one part about no fee dating, read this:

  • On no fee dating, what the replies looked like was about what you would guess compared with the alternatives
  • The thing that separates the good ones is what decides whether no fee dating is worth it
  • How the pattern went after the first month of no fee dating was uneven depending on the hour
  • Read the profile properly before replying, especially if no fee dating is new to you
