Trying to work out dating app for christian singles with the highest before I sink more time into it.

Where dating app either works or falls apart is how the free tier compares with the paid one.

For me the point where it either works or does not with dating app is whether the smaller pool means better conversation.

What would you do about dating app for christian singles with the highest if you were starting fresh today?

Came back to dating app after a break. Over the opening stretch, what the follow-through looked like was more consistent than the alternatives.

With dating app I would start here: read the profile properly before replying.

Nobody writing about dating app seems willing to say how far you have to search to find matches.

Things that made a difference with dating app:

  • Give dating app the opening stretch before deciding — how it played out was stronger at the weekend
  • The failure mode with dating app is when you write a bio that could belong to anyone
  • If dating app is your only option, at least use a photo that shows your face clearly
  • The part that matters is what decides whether dating app is worth it

Seconding @Rachel. What settled it for me on dating app was whether the smaller pool means better conversation.

I gave dating app about a fortnight and what I saw was worse than the reviews suggest.

What I actually want to know about dating app is how it behaves after a month of use.

Where dating app either works or falls apart is how the algorithm treats a new account.

Seconding @Amber. What settled it for me on dating app was whether the matching does anything you can notice.

After the first few days with dating app, what I ended up with was behind on everything except volume.

What matters more than the feature list on dating app is whether the smaller pool means better conversation.

After the first month with dating app, what the follow-through looked like was less reliable than it looks from outside.

The fix that worked on dating app was simple enough — use a photo that shows your face clearly.

Do not take silence personally — that's what cost me the first ten conversations on dating app.

@Amber maybe it varies by city, because dating app was stronger at the weekend where I'm.

What helped most with dating app was that I made a point to read the profile properly before replying.

I wasted the first week on dating app because I would rely on the recommended matches alone.

The part I keep getting stuck on with dating app is what the filtering actually returns.

For me the thing that separates the good ones with dating app is what the profiles look like compared with general apps.

Tried dating app across the first handful of matches and honestly what I ended up with was worse than the reviews suggest.

Before writing dating app off, try this: write a bio that says something checkable.

The trap with dating app is that it's easy to rely on the recommended matches alone.

I ended up on Datenest dating after the same dating app question and it was the least painful of the lot.

@BrianZ that hasn't been my experience with dating app, and I gave it about a fortnight.

With dating app I would start here: read the profile properly before replying.

For me the bit that surprised me with dating app is what the profiles look like compared with general apps.

My working notes on dating app, for what they are worth:

  • Give dating app the first handful of matches before deciding — what I saw was roughly the same either way
  • If dating app is your only option, at least read the profile properly before replying
  • What the follow-through looked like after a month of steady use of dating app was roughly the same either way

Ran dating app alongside two others for roughly six weeks — how the volume moved was clearly ahead on this one point.

The single change that improved dating app for me was deciding to write a bio that says something checkable.

The part I keep getting stuck on with dating app is how the free tier compares with the paid one.

For me the detail that decides it with dating app is whether the swipe volume translates into conversation.

Worth mentioning that site if dating app is what you are weighing up — the free tier actually lets you message.

@Jason that has not been my experience with dating app, and I gave it the first few days.

Most of my results on dating app came down to one habit — keep a separate email for it.

If anyone has tested dating app properly, I want to know whether the swipe volume translates into conversation.

A friend pointed me at this one when I asked about dating app; the sign-up was free and quick.

Short version for anyone testing dating app:

  • The thing that separates the good ones is what decides whether dating app is worth it
  • Check when the account was last active — on dating app that mattered more than anything else
  • Check when the account was last active, especially if dating app is new to you

Came back to dating app after a break. Over the first ten conversations, what the pool looked like was clearly ahead on this one point.

With dating app specifically, it pays to ask one specific question instead of a generic opener.

Quick list from my time with dating app:

  • If dating app is your only option, at least say what you are looking for in plain words
  • Write a bio that says something checkable — on dating app that mattered more than anything else
  • Say what you are looking for in plain words, especially if dating app is new to you
  • Do not judge it on the first evening; with dating app it costs you the first month
