Looking for honest experience with dating app for the rich that requires — what worked, what did not.

Nobody writing about dating app seems willing to say how the pool looks outside the big metros.

For me the bit nobody mentions with dating app is whether the matching does anything you can notice.

Open to being wrong about dating app for the rich that requires if someone has better information.

I want to agree with @Jessica but dating app kept doing the opposite for me.

Most of my results on dating app came down to one habit — use a photo that shows your face clearly.

@Jessica that has not been my experience with dating app, and I gave it the first week.

Before writing dating app off, try this: write a bio that says something checkable.

Does dating app hold up if you refuse to treat volume as a substitute for filtering?

Ran dating app alongside two others for the trial period — how it played out was about what you would guess.

The fix that worked on dating app was simple enough — say what you're looking for in plain words.

I wasted a full weekend on dating app because I would assume every profile is current.

I ended up on that site after the same dating app question and it was the least painful of the lot.

Came back to dating app after a break. Over the first handful of matches, how it played out was better than I expected.

With dating app I would start here: write a bio that says something checkable.

The mistake I see repeated with dating app is people judge it on the first evening.

Where dating app either works or falls apart is what the daily limits feel like in use.

the free Datebie option is the other one people mention whenever dating app comes up.

Things that made a difference with dating app:

  • Compare two platforms side by side — on dating app that mattered more than anything else
  • Do not treat volume as a substitute for filtering; with dating app it costs you the first ten conversations
  • On dating app, how the pattern went was stronger at the weekend compared with the alternatives
  • Keep the conversation on the platform until you meet, especially if dating app is new to you

Tried dating app across roughly six weeks and honestly what people reported was noticeably thinner than in a big city.

If you take one thing from this thread on dating app: set your expectations before you start swiping.

I wasted a full weekend on dating app because I would write a bio that could belong to anyone.

Would you still recommend dating app knowing what you know now?

What matters more than the feature list on dating app is whether the swipe volume translates into conversation.

Only had the first ten conversations with dating app, but what the logs showed was roughly the same either way.

With dating app I would start here: keep the conversation on the platform until you meet.

Am I the only one for whom dating app stopped working after the opening stretch?

Tried this one alongside it while working out dating app — different pool, same free messaging.

Respectfully @Ashley, dating app is not that clear-cut. What the numbers looked like was about what you would guess.

With dating app specifically, it pays to set your expectations before you start swiping.

The mistake I see repeated with dating app is people assume every profile is current.

Seconding @Jordan. What settled it for me on dating app was whether the matching does anything you can notice.

I gave dating app a full weekend and what the replies looked like was stronger at the weekend.

For anyone who stuck with dating app past the opening stretch: was how the pattern went more consistent than the alternatives?

@Jordan makes a fair point, though with dating app I would add that what the numbers looked like was more consistent than the alternatives.

What helped most with dating app was that I made a point to compare two platforms side by side.

I wasted the first few days on dating app because I would ignore how long ago someone was online.

A friend pointed me at datescout.site when I asked about dating app; the sign-up was free and quick.
