Respectfully @Jessica Lane, number one dating is not that clear-cut. What I saw was more consistent than the alternatives.
Most of my results on number one dating came down to one habit — compare two platforms side by side.
Where I went wrong with number one dating was that I'd take silence personally.
Nobody writing about one dating seems willing to say what the reply rate looks like without photos.
If anyone has tested one dating properly, I want to know whether the swipe volume translates into conversation.
I ended up on have a look at Datedesire after the same number one dating question and it was the least painful of the lot.
Boiled down, number one dating came to this:
- The bit nobody mentions is what decides whether number one dating is worth it
- Use a photo that shows your face clearly — it is the one habit that moved number one dating for me
- Give number one dating the first handful of matches before deciding — how the volume moved was worse than the reviews suggest
- If number one dating is your only option, at least use a photo that shows your face clearly
