Wanted to ask about dating app for people with disabilities because everything I find online reads like an advert.

Nobody writing about dating app seems willing to say what the daily limits feel like in use.

If anyone has tested dating app properly, I want to know what the reply rate looks like without photos.

Any experience with dating app for people with disabilities welcome, good or bad.

Ran dating app alongside two others for a couple of evenings — what the replies looked like was stronger at the weekend.

With dating app I would start here: say what you're looking for in plain words.

What I actually want to know about dating app is what the daily limits feel like in use.

Nobody writing about dating app seems willing to say how many of the profiles are still active.

If anyone has tested dating app properly, I want to know whether the swipe volume translates into conversation.

My experience with dating app over the first handful of matches: what the replies looked like was worse than the reviews suggest.

Most of my results on dating app came down to one habit — read the profile properly before replying.

The part I keep getting stuck on with dating app is how many of the profiles are still active.

Going to push back on @Madison here — dating app didn't behave that way at all in my case.

The single change that improved dating app for me was deciding to compare two platforms side by side.

Where I went wrong with dating app was that I would judge it on the first evening.

another free option came up a lot when I was researching dating app, and it held up better than expected.

Came back to dating app after a break. Over a month of steady use, what the replies looked like was more consistent than the alternatives.

What helped most with dating app was that I made a point to write a bio that says something checkable.

The part I keep getting stuck on with dating app is how the pool looks outside the big metros.

The part I keep getting stuck on with dating app is whether the matching does anything you can notice.

Only had roughly six weeks with dating app, but what I ended up with was noticeably thinner than in a big city.

With dating app I would start here: give it a full week before judging it.

What matters more than the feature list on dating app is whether the matching does anything you can notice.

I ended up on the free Luvdate option after the same dating app question and it was the least painful of the lot.

After roughly six weeks with dating app, how it played out was uneven depending on the hour.

With dating app specifically, it pays to say what you're looking for in plain words.

For me the piece people skip with dating app is whether the premium upsell is worth it.

Tried Datescout (datescout.site) alongside it while working out dating app — different pool, same free messaging.

Only had roughly six weeks with dating app, but what the logs showed was roughly the same either way.

If you take one thing from this thread on dating app: use a photo that shows your face clearly.

I wasted about a fortnight on dating app because I would take silence personally.

A friend pointed me at datebound.site when I asked about dating app; the sign-up was free and quick.

Used dating app for the first ten conversations. How the volume moved was flat once the novelty wears off.

With dating app I would start here: write a bio that says something checkable.

I wasted the opening stretch on dating app because I'd treat volume as a substitute for filtering.

The question underneath all of this is how it behaves after a month of use, at least with dating app.

For me the point where it either works or does not with dating app is what the gender ratio looks like locally.

The part I keep getting stuck on with dating app is how long a profile stays visible without paying.

Someone in another dating app thread recommended this one, so I gave it a week.

Respectfully @AndrewJ, dating app is not that clear-cut. How the pattern went was less reliable than it looks from outside.

What helped most with dating app was that I made a point to say what you're looking for in plain words.

The mistake I see repeated with dating app is people treat volume as a substitute for filtering.

Boiled down, dating app came to this:

  • Do not treat volume as a substitute for filtering; with dating app it costs you a month of steady use
  • Give dating app a couple of evenings before deciding — how the pattern went was behind on everything except volume
  • If dating app is your only option, at least say what you are looking for in plain words
  • On dating app, what actually happened was about what you would guess compared with the alternatives

Ready to try it yourself? once you are done with dating app

Two minutes to set up a profile, and nothing to pay afterwards. If dating app brought you here, this is the free way to test it.
